Good Friday-Canada-Long-Weekend Morning!

Woke up this morning bright and early…..yes, on my day off…and went swimming. I love the feeling of swimming in the morning. Feeling the water support your body as you glide, kicking, strong arms pushing you forward, controlled breathing, stretching out, awwhh it feels so good, and then when your warmed up, the water that felt cool and jolted you awake 10 minutes ago now feels refreshing on your face. Can’t really beat that. And this was the last chance I’ll get to swim in the morning for the rest of the summer. 

After stopping for a quick smoothie, I’m on my way to sign up for boot camp. It will replace my swimming on Monday/Wednesday/Friday.I’m pretty terrified but it will be fun! I’ll have some great friends with me to push and support each other. I’ll finally be doing the strength training that I’ve been saying I should do. This morning I go to sign up and have measurements and before pictures taken. 

I’m thinking I’ll be pretty much unrecognizable by the time the summer is ending, between boot camp and my half marathon training I should be able to drop the pounds!! I’m excited!!
